Auditorium Fund

In 1990 the Auditorium Fund was established to renovate and refresh the Greenway Auditorium.  The seating capacity of Greenway High School Auditorium is 999, which allows for large productions to be staged. With generous donations from alumni and the community the following was accomplished:

• Refurbished the auditorium seating
•  Added handicap seating
• Replaced carpeting
• Replaced stage curtains
• Updated sound and lighting systems
• Replicated the intricate and detailed decorative painting
• Purchased acoustic shells for concert sound enhancement
• LED stage lighting
• Maintenance of the Grand Pianos
• Purchased stackable and folding chairs and tables

As time goes on, the needs of the Auditorium evolve.  It is now time to refresh the auditorium with new carpeting, replace the damaged curtains, and update the sound system.  Please consider the Greenway Auditorium Fund when seeking donor opportunities.  All donations are tax-deductible.
